Mr. Schuchmann is President/Senior Structural Engineer of Schuchmann Structural Associates, LLC and has over 25 years of experience in the structural design and construction of structural steel, masonry, precast and tilt-up buildings. During that time, he has been responsible for the design of more than 250 buildings encompassing over 20,000,000 square feet throughout the Eastern United States and Mexico. With a strong background in project management and multidisciplinary coordination, he focuses on delivering a highly detailed set of construction documents for every project. Mr. Schuchmann remains passionate about structural engineering and being involved early in the development process of each project. Remaining actively involved with ongoing coordination throughout the design and construction process has allowed him to develop quality, long-term relationships with members of the design and construction team. This in-depth approach allows for the development of creative and economical design solutions for his clients.

Mr. Schuchmann received his Bachelor of Science degree in structural engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) and his Masters of Business Administration from Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business (Winter Park, Florida). He is a Past-President of the American Concrete Institute Central Florida Chapter and member of the American Concrete Institute International, American Institute of Steel Construction, American Society of Civil Engineers, and Tilt-up Concrete Association. Mr. Schuchmann is licensed to practice engineering in Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Texas.

Shane Walters, PE, is a Senior Consultant and IT Administrator at Schuchmann Structural Associates. Shane has worked as a structural engineer for more than 25 years and as a Licensed Professional Engineer since 2003. During this time he has worked on the design, project coordination and development of computer-based design tools for tilt-up construction. He has also been responsible for the design of multiple buildings in the United States, Mexico & Caribbean. Mr. Walters received his Bachelors & Masters of Science Degrees in Engineering from Ohio University (Athens, Ohio). Mr. Walters is licensed to practice engineering in Ohio, Florida and New Jersey.

An accomplished professional in the structural engineering and construction industry, Mr. Steinbicker has provided structural engineering services for clients in the private and public sectors for over 40 years. Specializing in the design of structural steel, plant cast precast and tilt-up concrete building systems, he has been responsible for the design of more than 400 tilt-up buildings encompassing over 30,000,000 square feet throughout the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada. He was actively involved in the early development and design of multi-story tilt-up buildings, incorporating both the full height and stacked panel concepts. He was also responsible for the development of a hybrid concrete parking garage system incorporating load bearing tilt-up concrete panels, site cast precast concrete columns and site cast precast/prestressed concrete beams built compositely with a cast-in-place concrete deck. Since the planned ownership transfer in January, 2016, Mr. Steinbicker remains active with Schuchmann Structural Associates as a Senior Consulting Engineer.

Mr. Steinbicker is involved in many industry associations, including the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Concrete Institute, the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute and the American Institute of Steel Construction. He is a charter member and past chairman of ACI Committee 551, Tilt-Up Concrete Construction and was a charter member of ACI Committee C650, Tilt-Up Constructor Certification. He is a founding and sustaining member of the Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) and past member of their Board of Directors.

Mr. Steinbicker received the David L. Kelly Distinguished Engineer Award for 2013 and was elected to the TCA College of Fellows inaugural class in 2016. These recognitions were created by the TCA to recognize members of the Tilt-Up industry who are committed to pursuing engineering excellence and advancing the industry.
